德國意昂集團宣布削減500份駐英國工作崗位
中國石化新聞網訊 據《泰晤士報》本周三報道，德國公用事業公司意昂集團 (E.ON)將于下周宣布，會對其英國業務進行裁員，裁員人數約500人，原因是這家能源巨頭公司試圖在英國政府實施價格上限之前削減成本。
《泰晤士報》引用消息人士的話說，這家公司在英國有9,400名雇員，裁員不包括前線呼叫中心的員工。
E.ON是英國六大能源供應商之一，但在正常辦公時間以外未對此發表評論。
英國政府要求能源監管機構（Ofgem）設定價格上限，以對抗它所稱的“掠奪”能源價格。

German utility E.ON (EONGn.DE) will announce about 500 job losses next week in its British business, the Times reported on Wednesday, as the energy giant tries to cut costs before the British government imposes a price cap.
The redundancies exclude frontline call center staff, the Times said citing sources. The company employs 9,400 people in the UK.
E.ON, which is one of Britain’s big six energy suppliers, did not immediately respond to a request for comment outside regular business hours.
The British government asked energy regulator Ofgem to put the price cap on to combat what it has called “rip off” energy prices.
The Competition and Markets Authority found that utilities had overcharged some British households a total of 1.4 billion pounds ($1.84 billion) a year on average from 2012 to 2015, prompting the government to act.
